Personal Note: I had the opportunity to burn this stove while staying in a 500 year old home in France. I was there for 3 cool spring nights, so had to play with stoking the fire! I was able to get an overnight burn down to coals with a fully loaded firebox. Also I cooked dinner semi roasting/frying in a pan that fit perfectly in the warming chamber.
